The 2026 State Landcare Conference will bring us back to where it all begins – the grassroots.
After seven years since our last gathering, this conference is about reconnecting, listening, and learning from one another. With the theme “Growing Strong Together: Grassroots Landcare in Action” and a focus on Community – Climate – Place, it will celebrate the voices and experiences of Landcarers across South Australia.
The conference will create space for collaboration, where local groups, volunteers, Traditional Owners, industry, and government can come together to share ideas and strengthen partnerships. It’s about highlighting the practical stories and diverse needs of communities, while also exploring how we can collectively shape a resilient future.
