Experience Morialta at night time! Join the rangers in a walk to uncover the mysteries of the park in the dark. This guided walk takes you along the trail to the stunning waterfall and back, offering a rare chance to experience the park after dark. Discover the nocturnal sounds and hopefully see what animals come alive at night. What a great way to enjoy a fresh perspective on one of Adelaide's most loved trails.
Meeting Point:
First Falls trailhead car park at Morialta Conservation Park. Car parking and toilets are available.
What to Bring:
Please wear clothes suitable for the weather such as a rain coat and walking boots.
-
hiking boots/shoes, warm clothes, raincoat
-
small backpack with water, snacks and personal medication
-
Head torches or other torches (preferably with red light to maintain night vision and reduce the amount of lining shining in other people's eyes)
Accessibility:
The trail surface is combination of hard packed gravel and boardwalk. This is a grade 2 trail so there are sections in which assistance may be required. For manual wheelchair users it is recommended to do the trail with a freewheel attached (if you have one) as this will make the trail easier to navigate.
NPWS aims to provide inclusive events and activities for all, however some of our events do have specific requirements for participants. Please see the activity description and accessibility information to check if the event is suitable for you. If you require additional support to participate in the activity, please contact dew.parkofthemonth@sa.gov.au in advance.
Cancellations:

This event will be cancelled in the event of a park closure, severe weather or a total fire ban being declared in the Adelaide Metropolitan Fire Ban District.
-
Participants can cancel any time in the leadup to the activity. We ask that this is done directly through Humanitix as there will be people on the waitlist.
