Experience the joy of learning how to create a botanical drawing. Be immersed in nature while being guided by world renowned natural history illustrator Gilbert RM Dashorst CF, to capture the beautiful surrounds of the park through drawing. Gilbert specialises in the field of botany and spent 30 years at the State Herbarium/Botanic Gardens of SA as their Scientific Illustrator. One of his best known works is the beautiful and informative book - "Plants of the Adelaide Plains and Hills".

Car park at the Morialta Conservation Park Resource Centre.

All art materials will be provided. Please bring:

Accessibility:
Most of the activity will be in one location near the carpark where quiet sitting in nature will be welcomed! There is disabled parking available and an accessible toilet (we will open the resource centre which has an accessible toilet and can provide shelter if it is raining).
