FOBHMs oldest site Olive Hill is worked on to remove invasive flora (weeds) and restore the hill to a native grassy woodland habitat.
While most of the sites Olives have been removed, other weeds have appeared along the hill but we are making progress to remove them giving time for native species to return. The hill is home to a range of woodland birds, echidnas, Koalas and Kangaroos and some very large Black Mallee Box trees.
Some of the invasive flora we have been working on include bridal creeper, Saffron Thistle Olive trees as well as escaped garden plants.
